In our constant hunt for watches that please the eye and warm the wrist (and tell the time of course!) we run into some interesting stories. Recently, we ran into a company that went out of business, the founder begging to be allowed to buy it back was denied, and off the production goes to China. We’ll tell that story later.
For now we’re going to concentrate on the trend setting 44th president of the United States. As far as we know he has always worn his Tag Heuer to the big parties, but right in the middle of the campaign it seems a switch happened.
Nowadays you catch him signing papers and shaking hands with this simple and elegant piece. We like it. Japanese workmanship and a classic, “timeless” design.
